Qatar Amateur League: Stage set for 4th edition
DOHA: There’s a buzz of excitement as teams get set for the start of
the highly-anticipated Qatar Amateur League season.
The 2016-17 season kicks off on Tuesday, organisers said Monday.
Al Waab, the defending champions, Copros, the British Community, Al
Makrkhiya, Ezdan and Doha will be seen in action on day one of the new
season.
In other games this week, Madinat Khalifa, Lusail, Al Matar and Al
Quds will take to the pitch in their respective clashes.
The matches will start at 7:00pm and 9:00pm. organisers said Monday.
According to details, Kahramaa and the Military Command will not
feature this week as their teams are busy with other events.
Al Waab won the third edition of the league last season. Amwag – who
won the second edition – are also listed for the new season.
