Qatar jump one spot in FIFA rankings

ZURICH: Qatar, coached by Jorge Fossati, have jumped a spot in the
latest FIFA Ranking released by the world football governing body.
Qatar are ranked 84, a notch above China PR. The United Arab Emirates
are ranked 83 in the FIFA rankings.
Iran, ranked 33 in the world, are the top Asian side followed by Korea
Republic (40), Japan (51), Australia (55), Saudi Arabia (57) and
Uzbekistan (63).
Syria (95) are ranked 10th in Asia followed by Jordan (115) and Korea DPR
(121).
Meanwhile Argentina remain No 1 in FIFA’s latest world ranking list
while reigning World Cup champions Germany are the highest European
nation in the list.
