DOHA: Qatar’s Olympic squad will feature in a friendly tournament on
home soil as it continues preparations for the Asian Cup U-23
qualifiers to be held in July.

Teams from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will join the home side
Qatar on June 30 when the event begins.

The tournament matches will be held at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium and
Aspire pitch number 7, details showed on Thursday.

Last week Qatar beat Singapore 3-0 in a friendly played at Jassim Bin
Hamad Stadium. In another friendly played at Aspire pitch number 7,
Qatar won 2-0 against the same opponents.

Qatar squad is expected to break for Eid celebrations and then
continue training under the watchful eyes of coach Felix Sanchez.

Annabi is in the Group C of the Asian Cup qualifiers. The group also
includes teams from Syria, India and Turkmenistan.

Al-Sadd, Abdul Rahman Mohammed, Assem Madiou, Hazem Shehata, Mohammed

Bassam Hisham, Tariq Salman, Khaled Munir and Abdalla Al-Ahraq.
