DOHA: Qatar U-19 squad will travel to Malaga, Spain, where they will undergo a training camp, it was announced on Thursday.

Coached by Oscar Cano, Qatar will leave for Malaga on March 17, ‎Qatar Football Association (QFA) said on Thursday.

The training camp will last until March 27, QFA said.

The squad will also play two matches during the forthcoming trip. first against Ivory

Coast on March 21, then against Costa Rica on the 23rd of the same month.

Qatar are preparing for the AFC U19 Asian Cup to be held in Bahrain later this year.

Cano headed the squad during a similar training camp in Morocco in February.

Qatar are the defending Asian champions having won the tournament in October 2014.
