U-19s play goalless draw against Croatia

LISBON: Qatar U-19 played a goalless draw against Croatia in
an international friendly during a training camp in Portugal on
Sunday.
The Qatar Youth side – undergoing a training camp in Portugal
– arranged the friendly to get match practice.
It was the second successive draw between the two sides following
a separate stalemate last Monday.
Qatar are training in Portugal ahead of this summer’s AFC U-19 Asian
Cup qualifiers.
Sunday’s qualifier was an aggressive encounter with Qatar missing
several chances of scoring a goal.
Coach Bruno Miguel gave most of his players time on the pitch in an
effort to get maximum match practice.
Qatar will return home on Friday, team officials said on Sunday.
