DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with visiting Cameroonian Football Federation (CFF) delegation.

At the signing ceremony, QFA was represented by Vice President Saud Al Mohannadi while Acting President Seydou Mbombouo Njoya of CFF was the signatory from the visiting delegation.

QFA Secretary General Mansoor Al Ansari was also present.

QFA and CFF have agreed to develop football in both countries, plan exchange programs for youth teams and fix dates for matches between the senior squads

Sunday’s agreement signing has come as a follow-up to both parties agreeing to develop the game at a large scale.

In recent years, QFA has put pen to paper on similar agreements with African countries like Burundi, Gabon, South Sudan and Sudan.

QFA is purposefully gaining momentum to develop the game in Asia and other continents.

After the conclusion of the signing ceremony of the agreement, shields and souvenirs were exchanged between the two parties.

A jersey of the first Qatari team was presented to the visiting delegation with the number “22” inscribed on it
