DOHA: Al-Duhail has qualified for the U-19 QFA Cup final after beating Al-Sadd 4-3 in the semi-final at the Grand Hamad Stadium.

Al-Duhail produced a commanding show, scoring four goals in the first half.

Abdul Aziz Hassan (12th minute), Ahmed Riad (26th and 48th minutes) emerged as the goalscorers. Abdul Rahman Bakri, Al Sadd player, scored an own goal in the 28th minute. In the second half, Al Sadd’s rallied in fine fashion when they scored three goals to nearly materialize an impressive comeback. Ahmed Mohamed (61st minute), Mahdi Salem (81st minute) and Abdul Rahman Bakri (87th minute) scored the goals for Al-Sadd.

In the second meeting at the same stadium, Al-Arabi beat Al-Ahli 4-1.

Abdul Aziz Fahd (12th minute), Abdullah Muhammad (34the minute), Adam Khamis (43rd minute) and Ahmed Aboutrika (90 +4tg minute) scored for Al-Arabi. Islam Essam scored Al-Ahli’s only goal in the 77th minute of the match.

In the U-17 Cup competitions, Al-Duhail managed to qualify for the final by defeating Al-Khor 3-1 at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium in Al-Ahly Club. Al Duhail’s goals were scored by: Hamad Saleh Al-Ahraq (10), Abdullah Mohsen (30) and Faisal Talal (88). Al-Duhail’s player Ghanem Al-Bakhit scored an own goal (60).

In the second match, Al-Arabi won a deserved victory at the expense of Al-Wakra by three goals to ensure their qualification to meet Al-Duhail in the final.

Al-Arabi’s goals were scored by, Yazan Esmat (65 and 88) and Hamad Mohammed (82) while Abdul Rahman Kosuwanto scored Al-Wakra’s only goal (53).
