DOHA: Surprise results have been witnessed in the 15th round of the Qatargas League.

In one of the uspets of the week, Qatar SC beat points leaders Al Khor 4-2.

The goals for Qatar SC were scored by Mutaz Majed (3), Mohammed Imad (13), Rashid Mohammed (50) and Yusuf Hani (90).

The goals for Al Khor were scored by Ahmed Hussain (55 and 60).

With the win, Qatar SC have raised their points tally to 15 to be in 8th spot. Al Khor, with 37 points, go down to second spot.

Meanwhile Al Duhail regained the lead by defeating Al Shahaniya 4-0. Nasser Al Yazidi (two goals) and Abdul Rahman Nawab (two goals) scored in the 41st, 72nd, 78th and 88th minutes respectively.

Al Duhail have raised their tally to 40 points to go top of the table.

Al Shahaniya fell to 12th spot with 6 points.

In another clash, Al Arabi scored an important victory over Al-Sadd. Al Arabi won 2-1.

The match saw Talal Abdullah, the Al Sadd player, sent off in the last minute after getting his second yellow card of the clash.

Al Sadd opened the scoring with Khaled Al-Yazidi (15). Al Arabi scored in the 50th minute through Ahmed Abu Trika, who returned and scored the second goal in the 68th minute.

Al Arabi, in third spot, now have a tally of 33 points. Seventh-placed Al Sadd remain on 18 points.

Al Gharafa scored a great victory and set a record against Al Sailiya posting an 8-1 win.

Abdullah Khaled Musa (13, 19 and 50) scored a hattrick as did Nasser Al Anazi (26, 33 and 55).

Andrea who scored in the 17th minute, Muhammad Ramadan in the 88th minute also added to the Al Gharafa rally.

Abdullah Al Marri scored the only goal for Al Sailiya in the 69th minute.

Al Gharafa have raised their score to 29 points to be in fourth place while Al Sailiya remained with 11 points in 10th place.

After a feisty confrontation, Umm Salal achieved an important 3-1 victory over Al-Wakra.

Umm Salal scored the first goal in the 25th minute through Abdul Rahman Abkar.

Khaled Al Ali added the second goal in the 85th minute, and two minutes later Al Wakra reduced the deficit through Jassim Al Jalabi.

In the last minute of the match, Umm Salal settled the issue when Ali Al Kar scored the third goal of the game.

Umm Salal now have 19 points to be in sixth spot while Al Wakrah (25 points) are in fifth spot.
