DOHA: In a stunning piece of development, Qatar Stars League (QSL)
side Al Gharafa on Tuesday roped in Diego Aguirre to replace Zico who
was fired last week.

Tunisian Habib Sadiq replaced Zico on a temporary basis but Tuesday’s
deal with Aguirre shows that Al Gharafa can rely on experience until
the end of the season.

Aguirre led Al Rayyan to numerous trophies in Qatar before leaving the
QSL giants at the start of last season.

Former champions Al Gharafa are struggling in 9th spot on the QSL
points table after 19 matches.
