DOHA: Amar Osim, coach of Al Kharaitiyat, on Thursday said his team
lacks no motivation to do their best in their Emir Cup clash against
Qatar SC on Saturday.

“I assure you it won’t be difficult to motivate the players ahead of
this clash,” Osim said.

“Doing well in the Emir Cup is an additional incentive for all of the
teams. We want to do better than how we performed in the Qatar Stars
League (QSL),” he said.

“I am hopeful that the players will perform well and battle hard. It
is a good opportunity to make amends for our poor show in QSL,” he
said.

“It is a great challenge for us. Hopefully the occasion brings out the
best in our team,” he said. “We need good results,” he said. “Our team
is ready and we have the chance to win,” he said.

Qatar SC coach Sebastiao Lazaroni said: “It is a good opportunity to
highlight that we have quality in our team. We are feeling bad after
being demoted to Qatargas League but I understand the situation.”

He added: “We will do our best against Al Kharaitiyat. We must win to
march on in the tournament. My players have the potential to do well.
We have one goal: to win.”

Lazaroni said: “To be ready for this tournament is not going to be
easy. The mood is a bit low after the demotion. But then it is an
opportunity for us to do well. We have to open a new page.”
