DOHA: Hamid Ismail, who switched camp from Al Rayyan to Al Sadd,
joined his new teammates at a training session on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old right back had been with Al Rayyan since 2009.

Despite his first training session with former Qatar Stars League
(QSL) champions, Ismail will be officially unveiled as an Al ٍSadd
player soon.

Al Sadd’s new import Muriqui, a Brazilian striker, will also join his
new teammates soon, the club said on Wednesday.

Al Sadd are expected to play three friendlies during their pre-season
trip to Austria, the club said on Wednesday.

The new QSL season will commence next month.

Al Sadd finished second last season behind champions Lekhwiya.
