DOHA: Al Waab scored an impressive 3-1 win over Kahrama to draw three points clear at the top of the Qatar Amateur League table.

Al Waab hardly sweated during the 3-1 win over Kahrama, with striker Selim Abozaid turning in a match-winning performance by scoring a second half brace.

Friends United’s persistent chase of the leaders continued as they edged Egyptian Community 1-0 in a thorny affair, thanks to a 73rd minute Sufyan Rouaisi goal.


In Other matches, Mackeensuccumbed to a 0-2 defeat to Al Mataar, while Military Command crushed Keralal Indian 8-0 in a one sided match.

Al Waab lead the pack with 48 points, followed by Friends United at 45 points while Al Mataar are third with 42 points.
