SEOUL: Coach Jorge Fossati and the Qatar squad landed in Seoul on
Tuesday for their key 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on October
6.

The match – the first one under new coach Fossati – will be played at
Suwon World Cup Stadium.

The players and the backroom staff landed in Korea on Tuesday evening.

The Qatar players posed for pictures with those at the airport to
receive the squad.

After the game on October 6, the Qatar squad will return to Doha for
their fourth Group A clash against Syria on October 11.

The clash will be played under lights at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Qatar played against Iran (September 1) and Uzbekistan (September 6) last

month.

Fossati, who named key strikers Sebastian Soria and Rodrigo Tabata in
his squad on Sunday, replaced Daniel Carreno as coach a little over a
week ago.

Squad: Claude Amin, Ahmed Yasser, Louiz Martin, Ali Afif, Al Mahdi Ali,
Abdulziz Hatem, Boualem Khoukhi, Yousuf Ahmed, Ahmed Abdul Maqsood,
Saud Al Hajri, Rodrigo Tabata, Sebastian Soria, Saad Abdullah, Pedro
Migue, Ibrahim Magid, Abdul Karim Hassan, Mohammed Kasola. Ali Asad,
Hassan Al Haydos, Musab Al Khader, Maged Mohammed and Akram Afif.
