Everton F.C set for Qatar training camp
DOHA: English premier league side Everton F.C head for Qatar
for a week-long training camp during the English mid-season
break.
The Liverpool based club joins a long list of major European clubs
who have been utilizing Qatar and its state-of-the-art facilities as
Doha is becoming increasingly famous the world over as a first-class,
year-round training destination for leading sports teams from across
the globe.
Everton don’t play again until January 31 when they face a trip to Crystal
Palace and manager Roberto Martinez is using theenforced break toprepare
his squad for what he hopes will be a better half of the season.
Everton’s most recent contest paired them with West Brom. Albion in a
match which ended in a disappointing goalless draw at Goodison Park.
