treated to an amazing fanzone experience at the Qatargas League
Fanzone in Al Khor Stadium at the weekend.

Organised by Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Qatargas, the
Fanzone featured a wide range of fun games and activities for the
whole family and was followed by an exciting match between Umm Salal
and Al Shahania which kicked off at 4pm.

A special cultural dance was also performed during the half time which
wowed the audience as it featured traditional elements from the rich
Indonesian culture.

A five-a-side junior football tournament which brought together eight
teams from Al Khor community also took place and the winners received
their medals and prizes during an awarding ceremony following the Umm
Salal and Al Shahania match.

All the games and activities were run entirely by volunteers that live
in Al Khor community and have signed up to contribute towards the
success of the event while experiencing the action from the field.

As part of QFA’s CSR strategy which aims to involve all segments of
the local community in various tournaments and competitions organized
