DOHA: QFA’s Futsal and Beach Soccer Department has announced that the

Futsal league will be launched on the 13th of this month with the participation

of 10 teams namely Al Rayyan, Al Shahaniya, Al Gharafa, Al Wakra, Al Kharaitiyat,

Al Shamal, Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Ahli and Al Khor.

The first week of matches will be held at the Qatar Sports Club Indoor Hall.

The tournament will start with Al Kharaitiyat and Al Khor at 5:00 pm followed

by Al Gharafa meeting with Al Wakra at 6:30 and Al Shamal with Al Arabi at

8:00 pm.

The matches resume on Wednesday (November 14th) with Qatar SC and Al Ahli,

and Al Shahaniya with Al Rayyan at 5:00pm and 6:30 pm respectively.

The matches will be held alternately in the two clubs of Al-Wakra and Qatar Sports

Clubs, and will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at the same

time mentioned earlier.

The first phase of the league will end on December 12.

Al Sailiya were crowned the champions of last year’s edition . The top Qatari outfit

qualified to participate in the Asian Club Championship.
