Important decisions announced by the QFA Disciplinary Committee
DOHA: The Qatar Football Association’s (QFA) Disciplinary Committee
has announced a series of important decisions following a meeting
headed by Hassan Al Hammadi.
The decisions revolved around the March between Lekhwiya and
Al Wakra, which was played on January 22 in round 17 of the Qatar
Stars League.
A number of reviews were looked at before the following decisions were
announced:
For Lekhwiya:
Ali Hassan Afif has been suspended for two games as a penalty while he
remains out of one game due to two yellow cards.
Afif has been fined QR 20,000 for poor behavior and arguments during
the same game.
Ismail Muhammed was also suspended for two games besides being fined
QR 20,000.
Chico Flores has been suspended for five games and fined QR 50,000 for
a physical assault on a fellow player.
