AL AIN: Captain Bilal Mohammed described Qatar’s 4-1 win on Friday over Yemen ‘as important’, saying the players need to show same intensity in their next match.

“It was an important win,” Bilal said on Friday. “The players put in real effort and we achieved what we looking for,” he added.

“The Yemen team is an unpredictable side and we made a good fist of it on the pitch. They early goal helped us to pick up good momentum.” He explained.

“We tried to eliminate the mistakes we made in the previous game (last month),” he said.

“We are confident of a good show in Malaysia,” Bilal said. “I want us to play with same intensity that we exhibited today.”
