DOHA: Jibril Rajoub, President of the Palestinian Football Association
(PFA) on Sunday ‘thanked’ Qatar Football Association (QFA) for an
agreement in which both sides will work together to develop football.

Rajoub met with QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al
Thani on Sunday and discussed matters of mutual interest.

“This agreement is a testimony of our understanding to develop
football in both countries,” Rajoub said on Sunday.

“We will work together to take the game forward in both countries,” Rajoub said.

“I know our side will be here soon to play football matches and I am
happy to see them playing in what are great facilities,” he said.

“Clearly we will be the beneficiary of this agreement since we are
keen to develop our football at all levels,” Rajoub said.

“Qatar are way ahead in terms of their football. They have great
facilities, and strong sides at all levels,” he said.

“Our football will move forward with this agreement. We will develop
all areas of concern so that we can have strong national teams,”
