DOHA: Qatar squad on Tuesday will check in at the Grand Heritage Hotel
where they are scheduled to address the media ahead of this week’s
Gulf Cup.

The event – for players born in 2000 and after – will feature 6 teams.

The August 20-29 event has attracted teams from teams of Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and the UAE besides Qatar.

Qatar features in Group B, which includes Saudi Arabia and the UAE,
while Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait are in Group A.

Qatar takes on Saudi Arabia on August 20 and the UAE on August 22,

The semi-finals will be held on August 27.

Qatar featured in a five-national football event in Mexico at the
start of August in preparation for this tournament,
