ZURICH: Qatar have dropped five spots to be ranked 85th on the FIFA

computer, details showed on Saturday.

Qatar, coached by Daniel Carreno, are ranked 8th in Asia.

Al Anabi have dropped a few spots following a couple of losses this

month.

Qatar lost to Iran and Uzbekistan in their two 2018 FIFA World Cup

qualifying games in September.

In Asia, the rankings are headed by Iran and followed by Australia.

Uzbekistan are third in Asia followed by Saudi Arabia, Japan, the

UAE, China and Qatar.

Jordan and Oman complete the top-10 in Asia.

FIFA rankings are released by the world governing body every month.

Internationally, Brazil have moved back into the top five in the latest

FIFA world rankings after making a big jump up from ninth spot, while

Gibraltar and Kosovo made history with their first World Cup qualifying

matches.

Wales are back into the top 10 having moved up a spot, remaining two

places ahead of England, and they are now ahead of Spain, who dropped

down to 11th.

Argentina and Belgium remain the No. 1 and No. 2 sides, respectively,

with Germany now third after swapping places with Colombia.
