Qatar squad announced for World Cup qualifying games
DOHA: Qatar coach Daniel Carreno on Thursday named his squad for twin World Cup qualifying matches to be played later this month.
Qatar take on China and the Maldives on October 8 and 13 of this month.
The two games will be joint qualifying fixtures for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 Asian Cup to be held in the UAE.
Carreno has named strikers Sebastian Soria and Khalfan Ibrahim in his squad.
Qatar are top of Group C with 9 points from three maches.
