The Al Sadd star is Generation Amazing ambassador on the short trip to Jordan.
“Watching these young kids play football with Xavi delivers a telling message of hope and fairplay,” Al Thawadi said.
“It means football is for everyone. Xavi spending time with the kids is an unbelievable experience for the youngsters,” he added.
“To see the kids interacting with a global star like Xavi is a dream come true for all the kids,” he said.
“It was a fantastic feeling to see happy faces of the kids. This short session of football means a lot to these kids and us too,” he said.
“We are delighted to see Xavi’s contribution in taking the message of healthy living through football,” he said.
“All of this effects positive social change in our societies. We will continue to bring more people together through football,” he said.
“Such sessions teach young kids about discipline, healthy living, leadership, participation etc,” he said.
