Qatar U-20s get cracking ahead of World Cup
DOHA: Qatar have launched their final preparation for this year’s
Under-20 FIFA World Cup by announcing their departure dates for a
training camp in France and Austria.
QFA on Sunday announced Qatar juniors will depart on March 27 for
France for a training camp during which the national squad will play a
Last October Qatar qualified for the U-20World Cup to be held in
New Zealand from May 30 to June 20.
Following the completion of the French training camp, Qatar will fly
to Austria for a separate training camp from April 1 to 9.
Qatar will also play a friendly event involving Brazil, Honduras and
Cameroon in Austria beginning April 10.
Qatar take on Honduras on April 10 followed by a game against Brazil
on April 13. Qatar face Cameroon on April 16.
The Qatar juniors will play two friendlies in Austria after the four-nation tournament.
Qatar will take on US national side on April 21 and Croatia on April 23.
