Qatar U-23 squad arrives in Thailand for AFC Championship
BANGKOK: Qatar, coached by Felix Sanchez, on Sunday arrived in Bangkok for the AFC U-23 Championship for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics qualifiers set to be held in Thailand from January 8 to 26.
Qatar squad is already in preparatory mode having played friendly matches against Iran (2-2 draw) and Turkmenistan (2-2 draw) over the weekend in Doha.
Al Annabi face Syria on Jan 9 followed by matches against Saudi Arabia on Jan 12 and Japan on Jan 15.
