MADRID, SPAIN: The Qatar U-20 national squad capped off their week-long training camp in Spain with an impressive 1-0 victory over Spain.

Akram Afif scored the game’s lone goal to restore parity between the two sides after Spain won the first friendly with the same 1-0 score-line two days earlier.

The week-long camp was headed by coach Felix Sanchez who led Qatar to winning the U-19 Asian Cup in Myanmar last October.

The young squad is scheduled for another training camp in Italy next month.

Qatar is poised to feature in the 2015 U-20 World Cup in New Zealand next June, a first return to the biennial tournament since hosting it in 1995.
