DOHA: Al Sadd, Al Gharafa, Al Arabi, Umm Salal and Qatar SC posted wins Qatargas League matches held over the weekend.

Al Sadd beat Al Sailiya 3-1, Al Gharafa blanked Al Rayyan 2-0, Al Umm Salal edged past Al Ahli 1-0 and Qatar SC proved too good for Al Khor. Al Duhail and Al Wakrah played a 1-1 draw.

Al Sadd continue to be at the top of the rankings with 27 points.

Al Gharafa (26) are in second spot, Al Duhail (24) third, Al Rayyan (21) fourth, Qatar SC (21) fifth, Al Wakrah (18) sixth, Umm Salal (18) seventh, Al Arabi (14) eighth, Al Khor (9) ninth, Al Sailiya (6) 10th, Al Ahli (2) 11th and Al Kharaitiyat (2) are 12th.

Al Sadd maintained their lead in the league with 3-1 win over Al Sailiya at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium

Saud Al-Nasr (10), Mustafa Tariq Mishaal (16), and Moaz Abdullah (53) scored the goals for Al Sadd. Fahd Waad scored the only goal for Al Wakrah (57).

Showing good form Al Gharafa beat Al Rayyan 2-0 to retain their second spot

Al Gharafa’s goals were scored by Nasser Issa Al-Anzi (11) and Nasser Abdul Salam Al-Ahraq (31).

In the day’s third key match, Al Duhail drew with Al Wakrah Al-Shamal Stadium.

Meanwhile, the QFA Competitions Department has announced the Qatargas League schedule which includes amendments regarding the days of the 13th, 14th and 15th round matches and also the venues.

The matches will be held Jan 22, Jan 23, Jan 29 and on Jan 30.

The 15th Round action will be on Feb 5 and 6.

The matches will be held at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Shamal Stadium, Al Sailiya Stadium, Al Khor Stadium, Qatar SC and Al Arabi Stadium.
