DOHA: Al Duhail beat Qatar SC 9-0 in a Qatargas U-23 League clash at Al Sailiya Stadium to maintain their top position on the points table.

Al Duhail now have have a tally of 28 points whereas Qatar SC have 11.

Salmin Ateeq Al-Rumeihi scored a hattrick (13, 38 and 45), Saleh Ahmed Al Kaani (75 and 83), Ahmed Mohammed (52), Fahad Wad Al Bayati (59), Nasser Saleh (90) and Yousif Ahmed Haidra (41) scored the goals for Al Duhail.

In another match, Al Arabi beat Al Kharaitiyat 8-0. It was Al Arabi’s eighth win of the season. The goal scorers were the Arab Zaid Saad, Mohammed Saad Al Badr, Ahmed Saleh Khalfan, Khaldoon Ismail and Mohammed Mustafa. Al Arabi have 24 points to be placed second in the standings.

In another match, Al Sadd and Al Rayyan played out a 1-1 draw at at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium. Al Sadd now have 10 points while Al Rayyan have 5 points.

Ahmed Hassan Balnek scored for Al Sadd (20) while Makki Mohsen equalized for Al Rayyan (78).

In another one-sided match, Al Khor beat Al Sailiya 5-2 to improve their points tally to 22. Al Sailiyah, meanwhile, have just 6 points.

For Al Khor, Ahmed Hassan Al Mohannadi, Adel Ahmed, Saif Hassan Al Mohannadi (two goals) and Meshaal Ahmed (two goals) scored the goals. For Al Sailiya, Abdul Faihani managed a brace.

Meanwhile Al Shahaniya beat Al Ahli 4-3 to improve their points tally to 19 points. Al Ahli, meanwhile, have 13 points.

Khalid Ali, Abdul Rahman Rashid and Abdul Rahman Naji scored the goals for Al Shahaniya. Al Ahli’s goals were scored by Bauer Siddiqui and Naveed Mohammed.

Meanwhile Umm Salal beat Al Gharafa 3-2. Umm Salal now have 18 points while Al Gharafa remained at 15 points.
