DOHA: Mohammed Al Hashemi, Strategic planning consultant of Football Development at QFA, joined lecturer Mahir Bargadar to hand over certificates to 14 participants who featured at a workshop on goalkeeping.

On Wednesday, QFA concluded AFC Goalkeeping Coaching Course – Level 2 where the finer points in goalkeeping coaching were extensively discussed at the one-week long workshop.

Al Hashemi said at the closing ceremony: “Our mission continues in coaching for goalkeepers. We had a list of new programs that had details to benefit athletes wanting to improve and learn goalkeeping.”

“The participants would be doing follow up work on what they have learned at the workshop,” Al Hashemi said. “We wish them every success,” he added.

“I thank the participants for showing interest in our programs. We will continue to have such workshops so that the development of our amazing sport touches people’s lives,” he said.
