DOHA: A fitness workshop planned and staged by Qatar Football
Association (QFA) has concluded in Doha where scores of participants
featured in the AFC-backed gathering.

Popular Kuwaiti lecturer Dr. Tareq Banai delivered keynote speeches
and explained in detail the benefits of taking part in a fitness
workshop.

QFA’s Abdul Razzak Obaid was also present at the workshop.

Dr Banai said he was delighted to see QFA take such initiatives that
help improve the standard of football officials and players.

He said QFA deserved credit for engaging all cadres of the football
family in an attempt to promote the game with the right information
and know-how.

He said QFA has great understanding with the Asian Football
Confederation (AFC) to disseminate expert knowledge at all levels.

Dr Banai also praised the participation of coaches and football
officials for making the gathering useful and worthwhile, saying such
workshops should be a regular feature in the future also.

Those attending the workshop will be accredited fitness licenses, an
official acknowledgement that would help people get football-related
openings in future.

Dr Banai also thanked AFC for its role in bringing fitness experts
together for such a workshop.
