Round 15 matches of Qatargas U-23 conclude
DOHA: The Round 15 matches of Qatargas U-23 League concluded with Al-Rayyan winning 2-0 over Al-Khor, Al-Gharafa 3-1 over Umm Salal, Al-Arabi 1-0 over Al-Sailiya, Al-Wakra against Al-Kharaitiyat 6-0, and Al-Sadd over Qatar SC.
Al-Duhail and Al-Ahli played a goalless draw.
Al-Sadd maintained its lead in the Qatargas League with 39 points while Al-Gharafa remained second with 36.
Qatar SC remained third (28) despite losing, Al-Duhail fourth (27), Al-Rayyan fifth (25), Al-Wakra sixth (24), Al-Arabi seventh (23), Umm Salal eighth (21), Al-Sailiya ninth (13), Al-Khor tenth (12), Al-Kharaitiyat 11th (5) while Al-Ahli are 12th with 3 points
Al-Sadd succeeded in scoring the only goal of their match against Qatar SC when Mustafa Tariq Mishaal found the net in the 58th minute.
Al-Wakra scored the six against Al-Kharitiyat Faisal Al-Borshid (1-16-60) and Muhammad Al-Hassan (69-88), and Muhammad Ahmad, the Al-Kharaitiyat player, scored an own goal (90 +3).
In the game between Al-Arabi and Al-Sailiya, the winning goal came through Abdul-Rahman Al-Sadiq (69).
Al-Gharafa’s Nasser Al-Anzi (26), Abdullah Sir Al-Khatim (36) and Nasser Abdul Salam Al-Ahraq (45) scored during their win over Umm Salal.
Nasser Al-Enezi, Al-Gharafa player, is the top scorer in Qatargas U-23 League with 12 goals, followed by Hassan Balnak, Al Sadd player, with 10 goals, while four players are jointly third place with 7 goals – they are Rashid Al-Barashdi (Qatar), Tamim Mansour (Al-Rayyan) and Saud Ibrahim Al-Nasr. (Al-Sadd) and Lotfi Rabeh Majer (Al-Duhail).
