DOHA: Special workshops organised by Qatar Football Association (QFA)
to deal with coaching and goalkeeping issues has concluded, officials
said on Saturday.

The workshops were held in collaboration with Spanish football
authorities and attended by a number of coaches and club goalkeepers,
details show.

During the closing ceremony of the workshops, Mohammed Al Asad Qaisi
thanked the lecturers and experts who ‘provided valuable information
to trainers, coaches and players’.

QFA’s Jassim Muftah said the attendees stood to gain a lot by being
part of such workshops.

The Director of Development said the lecturers shared their wide
experience with the audience which showed keen interest to excel on
the pitch and away from it.

He said the the modern-day football was a combination thorough
research and skillful training for players and coaches.

He said QFA was looking to provide its young players and coaches at
all levels the platform from which they could go on to attain a new
degree of success in football.
