First Division Clubs

The Under-17 League is contested by First Division clubs in a two-round league format, following a unified draw for all age categories. Matches are played at the home grounds of the teams listed first in the fixture table, at neutral venues, or at any other locations designated by the Qatar Football Association.

At the conclusion of the Under-17 League, the team that finishes first is crowned the champion of the First Division Under-17 League.

After calculating the overall youth category points for each participating club, the club that ranks last in the general points table for the Under-17 category is relegated to the Second Division in the following sports season.

In addition to the league, a “Golden Square” (semi-final) tournament is held, along with a cup competition in which both First and Second Division clubs participate.

Second Division – Under-17 Youth League

The Under-17 teams of Second Division clubs play in a three-round league format, following a unified draw for all youth categories. Matches are held at the home grounds of the teams listed first in the schedule, at neutral venues, or at locations determined by the Qatar Football Association.

At the end of the season, the club that tops the general points table for the Under-17 youth category is promoted to the First Division in the following sports season.
