Second Division Cup

The Second Division Cup is one of the competitions organized by the Qatar Football Association. The first edition was held in the 2017–2018 season, with the tournament initially following a single round-robin group stage format.

In the 2022–2023 season, the format changed. The preliminary round was played on a home-and-away basis. The top two teams from each group advanced to the semi-finals, which were knockout matches. In the semi-finals, the first-place team from Group A played the second-place team from Group B, and the first-place team from Group B played the first-place team from Group A.

The 2022–2023 edition featured eight teams, including Second Division clubs (Al Kharaitiyat, Al Khor, Muaither, Mesaimeer, and Al Shahania) as well as teams from the amateur league (Al Bidda, Lusail, and Al Waab).

Muaither won the title in the 2017–2018 and 2019–2020 seasons. Mesaimeer claimed the trophy in the 2018–2019 and 2020–2021 seasons. Al Bidda won the 2021–2022 edition, and Al Shahania captured the 2022–2023 title. The tournament was not held during the 2023–2024 season. Al Bidda returned to win the 2024–2025 edition, securing their second title in the competition’s history.
