DOHA: Al Khor beat Al Sailiya 8-0 in a round 13 clash of the Qatargas League at Al Khor Stadium.
Saif Al Muhannadi scored five goals while Abdul Aziz Awad, Mishaal Al Suwaidi and Matar Muhammad scored one goal each.
Al Khor were leading 3-0 at the end of first half, but pounded five more in the second. Al Khor now have 34 points to sit top of standings. Al Duhail are in second spot with a tally of 31 points.
In another match, Al Rayyan beat Umm Salal 2-1 at Al Shamal Stadium.
Umm Salal’s only goal was scored by Ali Al Karbi while Al Rayyan scored through Al Makki Mohsen and Ahmad Al Jalham.
With this victory, Al Rayyan scored three important points, which raised their tally to 13 points though Umm Salal have 16 points.
In another match, Al Gharafa beat Al Shahaniya 3-2 at Al Duhail Stadium.
Al Gharafa scored through Nasser Al-Kaabi, Jassem Fahd and Ahmed Younis.
Al Shahaniya scored two goals through Khaled Nasser and Talal Al Omari.
Al Gharafa have raised their tally of points to 23. Al Shahaniya have only 6.
