DOHA: Al Khor beat Al Duhail 3-1 in the 10th round of Qatargas League to grab the overall points lead in the championship. Al Khor now have a tally of 25 points after 10 matches after Ahmed Hassan Al Muhannadi (two goals) and Saif Hassan scored for the points leaders. In another match, Al Wakrah beat Al Ahli 3-1 to grab key points in the battle. Al Wakrah are placed in third spot with 22 points. Al Wakrah's goals were scored by Youssef Masad (two goals) and Jassem Ali Hadaf while Al Ahli's only goal was scored by Muhammad Raed Yassin. Al Shahaniya, meanwhile, were also able to post their first win of the season by defeating Al Rayyan 3-2. Al Shahaniya are in ninth spot with six points while Al Rayyan have a tally of seven points (tenth place).  Al Sadd settled for a 1-1 draw against Qatar SC to be in 8th spot. Qatar SC are in ninth place (eight points). Al Gharafa beat Umm Salal 2-1 as Rashid Al-Harbi scored two goals. In another match, Al Arabi beat Al Sailiya 3-0.
