Doha: Khaled Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department at the Qatar Football Association, and a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)'s Marketing Committee, took part in the fourth meeting of the AFC Marketing Committee, which was held virtually this Thursday afternoon, headed by Dashu Ogen Tsechup, with the presence of the AFC Secretary-General of the Asian Football Confederation, and members of the Committee.
The attendees discussed the topics on the agenda, which included a review of the marketing reports of the tournaments organized by the AFC in the recent period.
The meeting began with the ratification of the minutes of the previous meeting, and a discussion of the marketing strategy for the commercial affairs of the AFC, in addition to the presentation of a progress report on the business conducted by the firm that owns the commercial rights.
The fourth meeting of the AFC Marketing Committee also saw the attendees get briefed on the ongoing developments in various marketing matters, as well as the reports on commercial and television rights. Some general recommendations regarding marketing matters were taken on board.
The first meeting of the Committee for the 2019-2023 session was held in November 2019 at the headquarters of the AFC in Kuala Lumpur, with the participation of all members of the committee.
