Doha: Qatari champions Al Sadd will take on Oceania representatives Hienghene Sport in their first match, on December 11, at the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar after the draw for the tournament was made on Monday.
Sadd, coached by Xavi Hernandez will play CONCACAF Champions League winners Monterrey if they win the clash against Hienghene Sport.
The winners of that match will then meet European champions Liverpool, who will enter the competition in the semifinals.
The as-yet-unknown Copa Libertadores winners will enter in the other semifinal.
They will face either the Asian champions or African champions Esperance Tunis on December 17.
