DOHA: Al Wakra beat Al Shamal 4-0 in their Second Division
league match.
Mohamed Kani opened the scoring for Al Wakra in the 22nd
minute while Al Shamal's Yusuf Ahmed Ali scored an own goal
to give Al Wakra a 2-0 cushion at the end of the first half.
Al Wakra striker Nana Boko managed to add two goals (63rd
and 70th minutes) to complete Al Wakra's four-star win.
With the game being played at Al Wakrah Stadium, referee
Abdulla Al-Nehba showed yellow cards to Al Shamal players
Ali Ahmed Al-Shaibani and Farid Dabnka early in the match.
Al Shamal's Abdulrahman Musbah was shown the red in the
last minute of the match.
Al-Wakra have six points and retain second position in the
overall standings. Al Shamal have three points in fifth
place.
