RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL: Qatar's Bassam Al Rawi will miss the team's international friendly against Brazil on Wednesday, it was announced on Tuesday. Al Rawi, who played a key role in Qatar's Asian Cup title win earlier this year, is battling a retractor muscle injury, coach Felix Sanchez said. The backroom staff is working round the clock to get the star player ready for this month's Copa America set to feature Qatar for the first time. Al Rawi is expected to make a quick recovery with the help of the medical staff with the 23-member squad. Brazil host Qatar in an international friendly at the Mané Garrincha Stadium on Wednesday. Qatar are grouped with Argentina, Columbia and Paraguay in the Copa America to be held from June 14 to July 7.
