DOHA: City Exchange have won Banking and Financial Institutions League title with a win over Qatar National Bank.
City Exchange won the match 3-1.
Gulf Takaful Insurance team secured the third place after a 6-1 win over Al Rayan Bank at Al Gharafa Sports Club.
The matches took place in the presence of a huge crowd that had turned up to support the four teams.
Organized by Qatar Football Association (QFA), the Banks and Financial Institutions League has now successfully completed five years.
The hugely popular tournament is an extension of QFA's Vision 2021 plans.
A total of 24 teams featured in the event that offered a whopping QR 80,000 in prize money.
After the end of the final match, the presentation ceremony was attended by Badr Al-Lingawi, Acting Director of Institutional Support at QFA, Salah Salman Al-Muhannadi, Head of the Tournament, Head of Planning and Training at the Central Bank of Qatar, Ali Labadah, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Bank, Hussein Al-Sharhanni, General Supervisor of the tournament, Salem Anzan Al-Nuaimi, assistant director of communication at Qatar National Bank, and a group of participating team managers.
