DOHA: Organisers of 2020 Copa America have announced that the tournament will be held from June 12 to July 12 this summer with Qatar also set for the second appearance.
Last year, five-time FIFA World Cup champions Brazil won the final against Peru.
This summer's Copa America will be the second appearance for Felix Sanchez's side.
Last year, Japan were the other invited team along side Qatar. This year Australia will join Qatar.
Qatar have been tagged with Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru in Group B.
In Group A, Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay will do battle.
Qatar will play five matches starting with Peru (June 14), Ecuador (June 18), Brazil (June 23, Venezuela (June 28) and Columbia (July 1).
According to the new system of the tournament, the first four teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.
Qatar impressed fans with their performance at last year's Copa America.
Asian Cup champions Qatar lost to Argentina (2-0) but drew 2-2 against Paraguay.before being edged out by Colombia (1-0).
