DOHA: The Disciplinary Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) held its meeting on Thursday afternoon under the chairmanship of Hassan Al-Hammadi. A number of decisions were taken after reviewing the reports of the matches played over the weekend.
A fine of QR 20,000 on Sheikh Khalifa bin Thamer Al-Thani, President of Al-Kharaitiyat Club, for making offensive public statements against where against QFA.
Also, Al Khraitiyat's skipper Anwar Deba was fined QR 10,000 for unsportsmanlike behaviour during a match involving Al Kharaitiyat and Al Arabi.
The Disciplinary Committee decided to call Yusuf Adam and assistant coach Said Nasrallah on Thursday 13 th at 10:00 am at the committee's headquarters in Al Bidda Tower to hear about the report of the referee, coordinator and from the same match between Al Arabi and Al Kharaitiyat.
In the U-23 Qatargas League; Al Gharafa's Khalifa Mohammed Al Manasir has been suspended for three matches and fined QR 3,000 for using foul language towards the referee during a match involving Umm Salal and Al Gharafa. His teammate Ali Al-Amri has been suspended for two matches and fined QR 2,000 for the same offence during the same match.
