Doha: As the countdown for the Emir Cup final begins, the Qatar Football Association
is releasing the first batch of the final match tickets for sale at twelve locations starting
Monday, April 30.
The Emir Cup final will be played at the Khalifa International Stadium on May 19.
The first batch of tickets for the final are available at the following 12 ticket sales centres
across the country: Qatar Mall, Villaggio, Landmark, Al Khor Mall, Lulu Airport, Souq
Al Wakrah, Souq Waqif, Lagoona Mall, Qatar Sports Club, Festival City and Qatar Fnac
(Lagoona Mall/Festival City).
10,000 tickets will be made available to the public before the release of the second and
third batches.
The QFA has set up a new mechanism in the way of issuing tickets in which the organisers
will provide more tickets to centres which sell the final tickets quickest.
The Emir Cup tickets will be different this year with the use of the bar code in each ticket.
This year smart tickets will be issued to help the purchaser to their parking spot at the
Khalifa International Stadium.
The bar code details on the tickets could also be used on the phone app to look for more
details on seating locations and other final-related information.
The final on May 19 will signal the end of the football season in Qatar.
