DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has set the date to resume local competitions for the remainder part of the 2019-20 season.
The action will resume from July 24 to August 26.
This announcement comes after the decision to stop football activities due to the spread of the coronavirus (Cold-19) pandemic, in order to preserve the safety of all members of the Qatari football family.
The QFA confirms that the selection of this period for the resumption of football activity has been carried out after detailed consultations with officials in the Ministry of Health in order to maintain the safety of all those involved in the matches, including players, technical and administrative equipment and referees.
In conclusion, the QFA extends its gratitude to all the healthline workers in Qatar who have made great efforts to protect the entire population in Qatar.
