DOHA: Muaither on Monday qualified for the second phase of the new edition of the Amir Cup after their 3-2 victory over Mesaimeer at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.
Muaither scored the goals through Khaled Nasser Al-Hanani, who found the net twic and a strike by Wilson Kunsi in the 24th, 45 + 2 and 72 minutes respectively.
Abdullah Al-Dayani scored the two goals for Mesaimeer.
MuaitherĀ dominated proceedings as both sides battled for ball posession.
After conceding three goals, Mesaimeer reduced the deficit by netting twice late in the second half.
