Doha: Qatar Coach Felix Sanchez has announced the squad for the final preparatory stage ahead of the 019 Asian Cup set to take place next January in the United Arab Emirates. Sanchez will test his squad in four tune-up friendlies before facing Lebanon in Qatar’s opening game in Group E on January 9. The marrons will take on Jordan 23 December, before playing Kyrgezstan and Algeria on 25 and 27. the Spaniard will announce his final roster for Asia’s biggest tournament following the friendly against Iran on December 31st. last month, Qatar defeated Switzerland 1-0 before sharing a 1-1 draw with Iceland.
