DOHA: Qatar will play international friendlies against Ecuador
and Uzbekistan in October.
The two games will be played in Doha and in Tashkent as Qatar
prepares for their 2019 Asian Cup campaign.
The match against Ecuador will be played on October 12 followed
by the game against Uzbekistan on October 16.
The 2019 Asian Cup finals will be held in the UAE from January
5 to February 1, during which they will play in Group E, which
includes Lebanon, North Korea and Saudi Arabia.
Qatar has also lined up friendlies against China on September 7
and Palestine on September 11.
The two games will take place at the Khalifa International Stadium
in Doha.
Qatar wants to play several friendly matches against various teams
as it prepares for the continent's top event to be held four months'
time.
Coached by Felix Sanchez, Qatar has also undertaken a training camp
in Austria last month.
