DOHA: The Qatar national team is set to participate in a Four-Nation tournament along with Jamaica, Ghana and Morocco, all of which will be fielding teams comprised of locally based players.
The event will start next Saturday with all matches set to be held at Wiener Neustadt Stadium in Austria.
The playing schedule is as follows:
Qatar vs Morocco on August 20
Qatar vs Ghana on August 23
Qatar vs Jamaica on August 26
These matches are part of the national team's preparations for the 2022 World Cup, which will start on November 20 in Qatar.
The national team started the current preparation phase last June and during the last period it played a number of preparatory matches with various European clubs.
