DOHA: Qatar’s Olympic side lose to Iran in their last match at the Four National Tournament played in Doha.
The other two teams in the event were Kuwait and Tajiskistan.
Sinazah Mehran and Maneech scored the goals in Iran’s 2-1 win.
Qatar reduced the deficit when Yusuf Abdul Razzaq found the net in the 66th minute.
The match saw two expulsions - Iran's Younis Diblvi in the 45th minute Qatar’s Abdullah Abdul Salam in the 65th minute.
The tournament also concluded with another meeting in which Kuwait scored their first and last victory at the expense of Tajikistan with a goal scored by Abdul Mohsen Mohammed in the 25th minute.
With the conclusion of the session, the overall standings were led by Iran and Tajikistan with 6 points while Qatar and Kuwait posted 3 points each.
Qatar are hosting Group A of the AFC U-23 qualifying group which includes Oman, Nepal and Afghanistan from March 22 to 26.
